2024 Fall Funding Cycle
The Fall Funding Cycle is now closed. Organizations seeking funding must wait until the Spring 2025 Cycle to submit their letters of inquiry (LOIs). For those who submitted an LOI for the fall cycle, the relevant dates are listed below:
LOIs reviewed: Early September
Full Proposal Invites Sent: September 15th
Full Proposals Due: October 15th
Approved Organizations Notified: Mid-December
*Note: the Burdine Johnson Foundation does not notify nor give feedback on LOIs or proposals we choose not to fund.
2025 Spring Funding Cycle
LOI submissions for the 2025 Spring Funding Cycle will open (submission link posted) on 1/15/25. The deadline for all LOI submissions will be 2/16/25.
Specific dates TBD, but full proposals invites will be sent in March, proposals will be due in April and organizations will be notified in May.
Planning Ahead: Remaining 2025 Cycles
The Spring 2025 Cycle Funding will be proceeded by our Summer and Fall Funding Cycles. The Summer Cycle LOIs will be due in May with grant checks sent out in August. The Fall Cycle LOIs will be due in August, with grant checks sent out in December.
Motivated by the desire to enhance the quality of life for those in Hays County and Central Texas, the Burdine Johnson Foundation awards grants to local charitable organizations involving the arts, education, health and human services, the environment and historic preservation.
